to+동사 : (동사)할, 하려고

my new year's resolution is to read a 100 books.

*resolution: 새해 계획

내 새해 계획은 책 100권을 읽는 것이야

I brought some movies to watch together.

내가 같이 볼 영화 몇 개를 가져왔어

We have enough cheirs to sit on.

우린 앉을 의자가 충분해요.

I have some friends to talik to.
나는 얘기할 친구가 몇명 있어.

> talk은 보통 뒤에 to를 붙여 talk to 라고 쓴다.

to를 붙여야 할지 고민 될 땐 to 앞에 명사인 friends를 붙여 말이 되면 된다. talk to friends (O)

 

I put a fever patch to cool down the fever.

난 열을 내리려고 해열시트를 붙였어.

*fever patch 해열시트 cool down 열을 내리다

all my friends gathered at a pub to watch a soccer game.
내 친구들 모두 축구 경기를 보려고 맥주집에 모였어.

이건 굉장히 바보처럼 들릴 거란걸 알아.

 

That does not sound stupid to me.
그 말이 나에겐 바보처럼 들리지 않는데.

I feel that if i can do my own laundry

만약 내가 내 빨래를 할 수 있다면

*own: 빌린 것이 아닌 자신의 것, 스스로 어떤 일을 함.

There isn't=(is not) anything i can't do.
내가 못하는 일은 없을거야=나는 뭐든 스스로 할 수 있을거야.

it's just that i'm a lot faster at painting.
단지 나는 칠하는게 훨씬 빨라서요.

everything's kinda pink.
전부 다 뭐랄까 핑크네.
